About the Position

We are looking for motivated and self-sufficient individuals who want to work in a start-up food hub environment as Long Distance Delivery Drivers. In this role, you’ll drive a 16’ or 26’ truck between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to support our food distribution network.

Your primary responsibility will be transporting locally sourced food products to our warehouse in Pittsburgh and, eventually, making stops at an additional warehouse or vendor locations to pick up products for the return trip to Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 6-hour route from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, delivering products to one of our warehouses.
  • Drive a 6-hour return trip back to Philadelphia, with future stops at additional warehouses or vendors to bring products back.
  • Operate as a brand ambassador, aligning with Harvie’s culture and values.
  • Use integrated technology to track delivery routes and provide proof of delivery.
  • Provide feedback to improve overall route performance.
  • Work closely with the sourcing and logistics teams to problem-solve any delivery issues.

Important Details:

  • Full-time position, starting as a 1099 contractor with potential for a staff position in the future
  • Pay: Starting at $25/hour
  • Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 12 hour days (mid morning to late evening)
  • Route: Philadelphia → Pittsburgh warehouse → Philadelphia (eventually includes additional stops)

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid PA driver’s license (no CDL required)
  • Comfortable driving long distances
  • Able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable, self-sufficient worker with a go-getter attitude
  • Strong communicator, tech-savvy, and able to problem-solve on the go

We’re looking for Member Relations Specialists to be the frontline of customer support, assisting our members with product inquiries, technical issues, and account management. Support requests come through email, phone, and our ticketing system, Zendesk, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our members.

This role goes beyond answering questions—it’s about building relationships, anticipating needs, and actively promoting the value of Harvie’s service. Whether it’s guiding a potential customer through the sign-up process, recommending products, or helping a member maximize their subscription, your goal is to enhance the customer experience and have meaningful interactions with our customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member inquiries via Zendesk and phone according to service level agreements and company guidelines.
  • Assist members with sign-ups, order management, billing inquiries, refunds, cancellations, and technical issues
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance member satisfaction, such as offering personalized product recommendations or guiding members to subscription options that best fit their needs
  • Help convert potential members into long-term customers by effectively communicating Harvie’s benefits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay member feedback and resolve concerns.
  • Identify trends in member interactions to improve the overall customer experience
  • Stay up to date on changes across the company that impact members 

About You:

About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will primarily focus on prepping and packing meal kits at our Lawrenceville distribution center.

Responsibilities:

  • Pack meal kits accurately and efficiently according to member orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment, following all food safety policies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and kitchen staff to optimize operations and resolve issues.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for inventory management.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize the work area to maintain a safe and hygienic workspace.
  • Learn and use Harvie’s systems for communication, production planning, and managing finished goods.
  • Receive and stock meal kit ingredients. Inspect products for damage, flaws, and irregularities.

About the Position

We are looking for hard working individuals who want to work in a fast-paced, efficiency-focused environment as an Outbound Team Member. Each week the Harvie crew works together in our Pittsburgh warehouse to pick and pack products from our farm and producer partners to create grocery boxes for customers. Products include produce, eggs, milk, cheese, bread, meat, flowers, and many other items to create a full grocery experience. Unlike a physical grocery store, all boxes are delivered to member homes, so you won’t have any customer interaction throughout your day. Steps for advancement on our hourly career ladder are discussed in regular one on one meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Pack unique grocery boxes with products in your zone based on member labels keeping up with the pace of pack with minimal pack errors
  • Inspect products for damage, flaws, and irregularities
  • Set up, locate, and extract products from shelves and storage areas using FIFO (first in first out); storage areas include freezer, cooler, and dry goods
  • Partake in the general and deep cleaning of the warehouse and break room areas
  • Perform warehouse duties using pallet jacks, following safety protocol
  • Adhere to state health and internal safety practices

At Harvie, the Logistics Manager ensures our fresh, locally sourced ingredients reach our members’ tables smoothly and on schedule. This role involves planning and coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, meeting budget goals, supervising transportation staff, and collaborating with department leaders to streamline logistics. By making sure every product moves efficiently from independent farms to the families we serve, the Logistics Manager supports our mission of strengthening connections through food—one timely, thoughtfully delivered meal at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inbound and outbound transportation of product
  • Develop new strategies to increase revenue, streamline processes and reduce cost
  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
  • Manage and develop transportation staff including Harvie’s delivery driver fleet
