Going to make this week's happening short and sweet. It's late :)
We have transitioned to nearly all certified organic non-local items this week. Greens on the Gro Farm is in the process of replanting and Little Pond Farm is winding down their season. And as I've mentioned before, Passion Organics is done until summer melons come on.
We have a few things from Fasig Family Farms this week. And here at A Simpler Place, we are waiting on our seeds to come in for our summer planting. It's getting later and later in the season and I'm getting nervous as we near 90 degree temps already.
Blueberry season will probably run another week or two. So you'll definitely want to snatch up those berries before they're gone. We are in local peach and tomato season. We've added both local and conventionally grown peaches and tomatoes to the farmstand as add-ons/extras.
And a small reminder - this site is not the most adaptable so please be sure to customize your boxes, make those swaps, and click through to add-ons. It's the only way we can ensure you are getting what you'd like from week to week. We are working on a better solution and targeting a June roll out. Hang in with us!
