Week 3 - Happy Memorial Day!
This week we planted our pollinator habitat. 32 different varieties of flowers and grasses specially formulated to support our pollinator population. We carefully prepped the ground, spread the seed, and then covered in straw to prevent erosion and maintain moisture while the seed germinates.
Hakurei Turnips- are sweet and mild. Sometimes called salad turnips these are delicious raw, and take on a whole new flavor and texture when cooked.
