After 5 days of rain and clouds it feels good to emerge into some beautiful autumn weather!
New this week! Our own kiwi berry sorbet. Last year we began making the sorbet at home with the soft kiwi. It was so delicious! Smooth and sweet, with that little bite that is distinctly kiwi berry. We had to find a way to make enough to share with our CSA members.
We have now partnered with Pennsville Custard Stand to produce sorbet on a slightly larger scale. Penny showed us how to use their ice cream maker, which makes 5 gallons! It was exciting to watch the whole process. We're very grateful that Pennsville Custard Stand was willing to do this for us.
