This Sunday Atlanta Harvest and Cultivating Humanity Inc will be hosting a free class on Irrigation. For the past ten years, with the exception of digging our own well, we've built every water system that we use on the farm. While we are designing and building the infrastructure for our new location, we wanted to share with you all the knowledge we have built up. My father has been a very handy man for years prior to taking on the task of farming and feeding the community. So many of those experiences have prepared him to share with you all the roots of sustainability. Especially in the times we are in, everyone should have these skills. Even if it doesnt help you immediately, it may some time in the future!
The class starts at 2 PM this Sunday, January 17th at 3529 Anvilblock Rd Ellenwood, GA 30294. There isnt much parking space, so I would encourage carpooling whenever possible. Please be prepared with boots as the area we are working in will be quite muddy. We all hope to see you there!
