Hey fam!
Our muscadines and scuppernongs are ready for harvesting! These type of grapes native to North America taste almost like a cross between a plum and the grapes we typically see in the grocery store. Their thick skin, a protective layer for the grape, though some would describe as tangy or bitter, contains many antioxidants which help protect not only the plant against disease, but also us when we eat it. Their seeds also have great health benefits too!
Muscadine and scuppernong season usually lasts from early August to early October. We have a few more weeks left in this year's muscadine and scuppernong season. Make sure you try them before they're out of season!
