Have you heard? Big River Farms is an endorsed FairShare farm. FairShare CSA Coalition is a WI-based nonprofit that provides resources and support to CSA farmers throughout the Midwest and connects family farmers with interested customers. As an endorsed farm, we participate in their Partner Shares program, which provides 25-75% discounts on our CSA shares to folks using government assistance, including SNAP/EBT and WIC.
The Partner Shares program provides crucial assistance to households experiencing need and ensures that all families are able to enjoy fresh, local food all season long. In 2021, the Partner Shares program has seen double the demand in recent years due to the pandemic, and we are trying to raise additional funds to assist all households who apply for CSA assistance through Big River Farms. Your support is critical in continuing to make this program a success!
