Week #2 Already! Wow it's that time of year, just a blur...
Welcome to those members that are just starting with their every other week share !
This week on the farm we delivered our first CSA shares of the year using the HARVIE platform. It has helped us organize better, which is awesome! Feel free to lets us know what you think as time goes on. We appreciate the feedback and will use it after the season as part of our evaluation of the platform.
Lots of weeding, its that time. Planted 800 bed feet of new summer squash. Prepped another 3500 bed feet for our next successions of snap peas, green/yellow/purple beans, radish, turnip, lettuce mix, arugula, baby kale, and braising mix. We are starting to seed our fall and winter crops for transplant starting in July. Hard to believe sometimes that what we start now will be enjoyed next year(2021). We pulled our first garlic head this week. It was a WOW moment. Definite win on the garlic so far this year. Coming your way as soon as we complete drying it.
