We hope you are all doing well!! Thank you to everyone who has been sharing their delicious food creations with us, and all the positive feedback! We consider it such a privilege to be able to provide you with farm fresh goodness every week!!
Things are really starting to grow here and we are so thrilled to see everything coming in. Our purple vienna kohlrabi is coming in great, but is a little slow, so we were able to get some for your boxes this week from our friends at Grey Arrow Farm. Hope you will enjoy!! For those of you who have never heard of kohlrabi before, it is in the brassica family of veggies, and it is great peeled and put in salad, eaten raw, stir fried, or in soups/stews. If you receive this in your box this week, Harvie will send you recipe suggestions too!!
We were concerned that our first couple weeks of our CSA boxes would be quite lean, but with some of our members choosing swap items, and others rescheduling, most of you guys have been receiving full boxes, which we are so thrilled about! We will keep some swap items available for the next couple weeks too.
