We made it through the storm pretty much unscathed, we did get a good bit of rain and lost power for a day or so but I am thankful it wasn't way worse. Fall crops are in the ground and they are looking great and enjoying the cool mornings and warmer afternoons. I don't know if anyone has had citrus1 read more »

We finally get some cooler weather and of course, it comes with a price! We are closely watching the weather updates to see just what Cyclone 6 is going to do, as for now it is projected to come directly at the Texas Louisiana coast. With that being said we will just have to see what it brings and1 read more »

It won't be long until we start seeing these varieties popping into the boxes, this is example of a mid to late November harvest that I took last year. I always get excited about the next seasons products and actually start to crave them even though we still have a bit of time before we will harves1 read more »

We have 4 beautiful rows of okra plants that are very close to starting production, as soon as they start blooming we will get in there and begin to harvest, hopefully in a week or so. We prepped ground for Fall plants all weekend dodging the scattered showers best we could. It sure gets muggy out1 read more »

It won't be too much longer before we start seeding carrots and a few other root crops out in the fields. This is a picture from a few years back but as you can see the Red seeder makes it much easier on us for planting. After the seeds are sown we will put drip tape out and hope for the best, one1 read more »
