It has been another busy week! The warmer weather has been so nice the last couple of days. We can see the field again and are getting very excited to start planting out there!
For this week's farmer feature we are talking to Jon.
Jon is married to Mary-Jo and has one son, Nathan. Mary-Jo also works on the farm and we will chat with her next week!
Jon attends the Muskegon Farmers Market. Pays the bills and works with the accountant to keep the farm financials in order. He power washes the equipment, keeping it clean and in good shape. He also works on field prep, clean up and does lots of cultivating.
I asked Jon what he liked to grow the best and he said that he enjoys growing the variety but likes to eat sweet corn the best.
