We were able to get started in the field this past week! We have been getting the fields prepped and even did some planting. The greenhouse is filling up, tomatoes are looking great. It is the first day of spring on Saturday and it is definitely looking and feeling like spring around the farm.
Our feature farmer this week is Kathy! If you have been to the farm store you have met Kathy.
Kathy manages the farm store. Helping customers, keeping it stocked and managing the inventory. She also helps with restaurant packing and washing. Her favorite thing to do at the farm is to work in the store, helping customers and friends.
She likes almost all vegetables, especially salads and roasted veggies. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, baking and crafting with her daughters, spending time with family, and enjoying the beautiful country sunrises, sunsets, fields, flowers, and seasons.
