Good Morning!
Frost has arrived. We have had a few frosty mornings this week. While it is sad to say goodbye to the summer crops, it was time. The typical first frost is October 12 - 20 and so we were able to get another week in!
We are in the final weeks of the super busy season here at the farm. We are ready for a rest. The last few winters we have had some big projects and the winter season was just as busy as the summer season. With no major projects for us on the schedule this winter we are ready for things to slow down just a bit. There are still some crops in the field, but the daily harvest list has gotten quite a bit shorter, leaving time for other projects.
We are ready for November! How about you? Getting excited for the winter season?
