How is it possible that it is November already? The summer has flown by and it is definitely feeling more like winter. We have finished up most of the harvesting for cold storage. There are some leek, brussels and cabbage to do yet and beets that we would like to have size up a bit more before we harvest them. We will continue to harvest kale, lettuce & collards out of the field as long as the weather allows. Overall it was an overwhelming year because of the weather but we are thankful that most of the cold storage's are full.
Now we move on to field clean up and getting everything ready for the snow and colder temperatures.
We are so excited about the new program for the CSA and hope that you are as well. Thank you for supporting the farm.
