As we move into July more & more crops are getting ready.
Here are a few storage tips for you:
New Potatoes: These potatoes are dug while the plants are still green and the skins are very tender. Store them in a bag or container in the fridge.
Bunched Items - Beets, onions, radishes & carrots: This time of year we have more bunched items. That means that the greens are attached to the roots of the plant. Remove the roots from the greens when you get home and store them separately in the fridge.
Zucchini/Summer Squash/Cucumber/Pickles: Store these in a bag or container in the fridge.
