Hello Farm Family!
This week we've made a small batch of Old Fashioned Dilly Beans with Cropsey's Gold Rush string beans. They're pickled in a light salt & sugar brine with dill, garlic cloves and a dash of cayenne. We've also made a delicious, thick Marinara with Cropsey's Early Girl tomatoes and our Genovese basil and Cropsey's garlic. Perfect over zucchini noodles for a delicious summer 'pasta' dish.
Please return any jars so that we can continue making more homemade, nutritious and delicious extras for you! We are also on the search for a pressure canner if anybody has one to sell (ideally newer and safer than an antique), donate or lend. We'd be so thankful and could get a jump on making soups and vegetable broths for Fall. Yes, it's right around the corner!
