As farmers, we are tickled pick to be out working the fields again. It's hard to believe that two weeks ago it snowed, and I'm applying sunblock today as the thermometer hits 97 degrees. Spring welcomes so many smiling faces as we come out of winter's hibernation. The chestnut tree is buzzing with bees, the strawberries are blooming and my asparagus grew 8" in ONE day! Mother nature is truly amazing.

My favorite salt blend are Berbere which is great on everything. It's fabulous on beef, pork, potatoes, eggs and vegetables (like asparagus). I put it on everything now.
