This past week our family took a summer break from the farm to head north to Canada for a farm conference in the suburbs of Montreal. We spent one night in Old Montreal and then headed to Le Ferme Quinn to meet with 50 plus farmers to share ideas about how to keep farms profitable. Camping on another farm was relaxing and gave us a chance to not think about our farm for a few days. Back home the warm humid weather pushed summer crops along like tomatoes, peppers, Eggplant, melons and sweet corn. We are thankful to our hard working staff who kept everything running smoothly. These crops were planted in the greenhouse in march and needed a lot of care to get to this point. We hope you enjoy the taste of summer!
