Hi everyone! It's been a busy week at the farm, bringing in big harvests of potatoes and tomatoes while also getting lots of seeds and plants in the ground for the fall. Bryan also mowed all over the farm, which always makes us both feel more sane and happy. The cooler nights are so lovely and help us to appreciate the warm sunny days we still have. And if you have fall on your mind, sign up for your Fall CSA share here! We still have room for more members, though your space is no longer guaranteed, so sign up soon if you're thinking about it! Soon we'll be harvesting winter squash, sweet potatoes, and dry beans. Though before that, we're going to have watermelon! It's a confusing season for the palette, but I think it's my favorite. I love eating spaghetti squash with fresh cherry tomatoes! Enjoy your veggies this week, and we hope to see you at our CSA member Pizza Party on August 29th at Well Crafted Kitchen! Cheers!

About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
