We're still deep in tomatoes this week! We did a bit of catch up on weeding some of our fall crops, but mostly we've just been harvesting all day long. Our sweet and hot peppers have started taking off this week, and we're still in the thick of melon season. We keep getting missed by the rain which is frustrating, so Bryan has continued to race around the farm making sure everything gets enough water. Today we're planting cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, Swiss chard and scallions. We'll have more to say, plus recipes and videos, in our newsletter, so stay tuned!

About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
