Brrrr! It sure has gotten chilly! We're still enjoying the warm sunshine during the day, but the nights have gotten down to freezing. We're still working on bringing in big harvests and cleaning up the farm before winter. We finishing bringing in all of the sweet potatoes and they're all cured and sweet as can be. Our cover crops are looking happy after all of this rain. The frost has now kissed all of the outdoor veggies and will make them taste extra delicious this week! Check out fun new big brassicas like savoy cabbage and sprouting broccoli.

About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
