Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder that pick up the week after next will be on Tuesday November 26th only! There will be no pick ups on Wednesday November 27th or Thursday November 28th. Please take the time to reschedule your share now if picking up earlier in the week doesn't work for your schedule. Also, consider buying your Thanksgiving vegetables from us! You can purchase extra vegetables through the "Extras" section like potatoes, winter squash, sweet potatoes and cabbage. You'll just pick them up along with your share either this coming week or next week. Hope you get to share the local bounty with family and friends!
It has been a mighty cold week out here! Things definitely warmed up later in the week, but earlier this week we were some chilly farmers! We have almost all crops out of the field now so we're pulling from our storage crops and harvesting fresh greens each week. We've been planting onions in the latter half of the week so that they'll be ready early next summer. We're also still cleaning up the farm from the season - that's a project that will take over a month at the rate we're going now! We're very tired and ready for rest, but also enjoying that there's still a huge bounty and diversity of food on the farm right now.
