Week 5 - Rain rain rain
Well, we got six inches of rain early this week, so we were able to forget irrigating for the moment, which was a gift. Week 4 - Weeds, weeds, weeds and drought! More strawberries for sale with shares!
We just has a thunderstorm pass by us and we got enough wind and almost rain to get us to run around like crazy, but it passed too fast and too far north, and we didn't even get enough water to tamp down the dust. Good thing our irrigation was running the whole time...

We are headed into our third week of deliveries and we're already seeing a shift away from inundations of greenery into meatier crops. We've got our first wave of early summer crops with our first cauliflower (lots more to come if you don't get any this week) and summer squash and cukes. 1 read more »
