Final Fall CSA Deliveries NEXT WEEK!! (Nov 6th & 7th)

Posted on October 28th, 2019 by Leah Peterson Sisler

Greetings, HAFA CSA Members!

The team here at HAFA can hardly believe our huge season of farm fresh produce is coming to an end! The HAFA farmers are working hard in terribly chilly conditions to bring in the last of their harvest before the Big Freeze is upon us. Because of the many variables involved in getting these final crops safely out of the ground, we will be inviting you to customize your last CSA share tomorrow evening, after we have a better sense of our inventory. Rest assured we will have a glorious bounty for your box!

Along these lines, please note that farmer Mee Hang's last peanut crop was unfortunately lost to the heavy rains and cold weather last week, along with farmer Mai Moua Yang's mustard greens. With our apologies, we will substituting a bundle of fresh sage for each member who requested peanuts in their share this week, and red cabbage for mustard greens. We appreciate your understanding.

THANKSGIVING CSA PICK-UP INFO:

For those of you who have signed up for a Thanksgiving CSA share and/or turkey, stay tuned for more information about pickup details at The Good Acre on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22. We are working with our colleagues over there to finalize pickup times, and will reach out to you with more precise information soon. Thank you!
