FARM UPDATE:
This week we continued weeding the new strawberries, we planted a second round of tomatoes and the first round of winter squash. Matt and his brothers got a ton of flowers planted in the pick your own field. These will be blooming before we know it! Speaking of PYO flowers, check out all those sunflowers and black eyed susans! Make yourself a bouquet!

This Friday, June 26th 7pm-8pm Tai Chi and Gentle Yoga taught by Elizabeth Swope and Amy Finnegan. Tai Chi and Gentle Yoga honors our fluid lunar nature, and invites us to slow down and practice self-care. Gentle movements connect our mind, body and spirit to the farm and earth. June 27th 1:30pm-2:30pm A Day In The Life Of A Honeybee with Danielle Frederick Rhodes. We will discuss topics such as honeybee anatomy, the inner workings of the hive, the importance of pollinators and various products from the hive and their usage. RESCHEDULED FROM LAST SATURDAY: The Native Garden Design and Build Workshop was rescheduled from last Saturday to this Saturday, June 27th from 2:30-5pm This workshop, hosted by Elyse Jurgen, will take place outdoors and seating will be socially distanced. A hand-washing station is on-site but please wear a mask and bring gloves. In this workshop, gain the basic native garden skills and hands-on experience of converting a section of lawn into viable habitat to support critical wildlife species. Campfire and Fireflies in the Fields. Join board member and volunteer, Matt Dilley, for a super casual hangout at the farm this Saturday evening any time after 7:30pm. Evenings at the farm are quite lovely with the fireflies and the sunset and the peacefulness of nature. He'll have a campfire going and you and your family are welcome to bring a picnic dinner.
FOURTH OF JULY SCHEDULE:
We are modifying our pickup schedule around the Fourth of July holiday. That week our pickup hours will be WEDNESDAY, July 1st 3pm-7pm, Thursday, July 2nd 3pm-7pm and Friday, July 3rd 11am-7pm. WE WILL NOT BE HERE ON SATURDAY, JULY 4TH!
