PICK UP HOURS: Pickup hours are Thursday 3pm-7pm, Friday 11am-7pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Despite what day you chose when signing up for your share, you are welcome to come during any of our open hours. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing to give yourself time to gather your veggies. Our FALL HOURS begin on October 7th. Fall Hours will be Thursday 3pm-6pm, Friday 11am-6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.
PICNIC IN THE FIELDS: Picnic in the Fields is September 26th! Get your tickets now! Our annual fall fundraiser is back this year with catering by Miller's Smorgasbord, a Taste of Homefields presented by Chefs Brooke Magni and Oliver Saye, a farmer's cocktail created by Farmer Kelly, live music by Over Easy, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, activities for kids and so much more! FARM UPDATE: This week we're focusing on field cleanup and preparing for the Picnic. We plant into plastic mulch to prevent weeds from overtaking our veggies, but that means that after the crop is harvested, the plastic needs to come out! In the past we tried renting a plastic lifter that attached to the back of the tractor, but we found that it tended to leave little plastic pieces still buried in the ground, so we went back to pulling up the used plastic by hand. This is no one's favorite job, but its a necessary part of farming.
