Don't you just love July in Virginia! Our gardens are overflowing with vegetables and flowers, we just finished cutting hay for our cattle, and everything just seems alive. It has been such a pleasure to deliver all of our farm goodies up to Lake Barcroft and see how you guys transform them into amazing meals! Just this last week we have heard about people making carrot greens pesto, grilling hamburgers for the 4th with our ground beef and sourdough rolls, and peach pies that I wouldn't mind stealing a slice of. I will be up in Lake Barcroft this weekend to celebrate my 27th birthday with my parents so I thought I would add a bonus delivery to celebrate.

Welcome to Meadow Wood Farm! This year we are so excited to be offering our customers in Falls Church/Arlington and Midloathian/Richmond the highest quality and variety of food the Shenandoah Valley can produce. COVID-19 has limited our lives in so many ways and we hope to be one avenue where there are more safe choices. With food supply chains being so affected by the pandemic, we hope to connect you all with nutritious, sustainably grown food and the farms around us with customers who are passionate about eating well. To do that we will be partnering with our friends and fellow farmers to fulfill as many food groups as we can.
