Thank you guys so much for your flexibility these past couple weeks! We were able to pull of a gorgeous wedding here on the farm. We hosted a little over 100 people for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. All the flowers and food came from right here, a true farm to table wedding! It is amazing to host these events and help families come together and celebrate their love.
Now that we are back in the swing of deliveries, let me tell you, our veg is incredible this week. Unlike me, the vegetables love the heat and humidity that we have been cloaked with this month and are just popping off. We are swimming in tomatoes, I feel like I constantly have to have a pot of tomatoes reducing to keep up with the canning. I also am trying my hand at canning peaches for the first time, the chemistry is a bit different to can sweet foods, a bit more of a risk of botulism but I think I finally have a handle on it.
