It has been a wet few weeks and while some rain is good for the plants, in this part of the summer rain like this is a breeding ground for bacterial/fungus issues and disease. Our first cucurbits took an early curtain call because of it. The peppers took some damage as well but it looks like they are going to make it. The next round of cucurbits is being planted now and we should have more cucumbers and squash in a few weeks followed by some watermelons! The beans on the other hand are loving it and producing bins and bins full of fruit! Despite the unpredictable rain we were able to fit in some tractor maintenance as well.
