The summer crops are starting to come in hot and we have lots of zucchini and patty pan squash, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, poblano peppers, jalapeno peppers, eggplant, and fresh garlic! After this coming week's delivery we will be off the week of July 25th and then back in August with lots more cucumber and cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, new potatoes, carrots, green beans, and more!
The fields are looking lush and vibrant after the rain we have had the last couple of days. Even with our irrigation the soil had been looking very dry because we have received 70 - 100mm less precipitation than average this year.
