Howdy All!
We have been enjoying the cooler temperatures out on the farm just as much as the veggies have. We are beginning to see the first of the fall crops come to harvest and expect a few more things later down the road. Cool weather planting is in full swing with many root vegetables already germinating both in the field and as transplants. Our few summer crops are still hanging on and will likely be around until our first frost. Now is a perfect time to begin preserving some of these either by pickling (okra, peppers, etc..) or drying (roselle calyx, herbs, etc..) As always, thanks for your support of local agriculture and our farm!
Regards,
Kenny
