Howdy,
Hope this finds you well and keeping warm! The hard freeze we had this weekend was a rude awakening to winter for our plants. Since temperatures were high leading up to the cool front our crops did not have much time to adjust to freezing weather, so we ended up with considerable losses. Crops like lettuce, carrots, Swiss chard, and beets should be able to recover well, and for that we are incredibly grateful. In the near future we will be furiously replanting and reseeding to get the farm back on par. We managed to have enough produce for this Wednesday's CSA shares, and will keep you posted on the outcome of approaching weeks.
