Greetings from Farmer Sean!
I was looking at one of my many calendars the other day and couldn't believe how close December looked! Time, as we all know, sure flies by. Especially in the summer, the weeks fly by as we farmers cycle through planting, harvesting, packing restaurant orders, setting up the CSA pickups, the Saturday farm stand, and our monthly Farm Events ( and trying to enjoy a little beach time). With a really fantastic crew of hardworking fellow farmers, this hectic and often overwhelming schedule feels more manageable than ever. Steve, Elliot, Lauren, David, Michelle, Buddy, and Beth care so much for this farm and I am so grateful to them for the sacrifices they make to grow with me.
We are all so grateful for the enthusiastic support of our CSA member families, our chef friends, our farm stand customers, and everyone who comes through the farm for events, or just to take a relaxing or inspiring walk in nature. We know there are lots of choices out there for where to get your food, where to spend your time and money. Hopefully you are grateful for choosing HOG. We certainly aren't perfect, but as Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band sang: "You've got to admit, it's getting better, a little better all the time..."
