Happy Thanksgiving, Farm-ily!
Whatever your holiday celebrations may look like this year, we want them to be delicious. Our main CSA season has come to end and our Winter season doesn't begin until December, but we have sweet potatoes and apples for your pies, Brussels and squash for your sides, and greens galore. Let us help you make the most of your holiday with the abundance of our fall harvest, meats from our local partners, and the fresh bread and pantry staples you've loved over the past few months.
If you've been picking up your shares at our Farm Stand this season, you're already familiar with our procedures. If this is your first time, our staff will be happy to assist you. Please wear a face mask inside the Farm Stand area. We rely on your help to maintain social distancing precautions- for your health and ours! We’ll have cones set out to mark spots for 10 people to wait in line, 6 feet apart. Please wait inside your vehicle until there is a free spot in line at a cone. We respectfully request that only one person from your household enter the Farm Stand. When your turn for pickup arrives, a member of our crew will assist you with retrieving your share and any additional items. Although we appreciate your desire to help, please do not touch any of the share boxes, coolers, etc. Let us handle that so we can minimize unnecessary contact for you!
Please note that because this off season Farm Stand pop-up coincides with a holiday, there will not be a second chance for pickup later in the week. Mark your calendars for Tuesday from 3 PM to 7 PM! At 7 PM, any unclaimed items will be consolidated for donation to the food bank, and our staff will be not be available again until after the holiday.
We're grateful to our local food community, now and throughout the year. Thank you for choosing to bring our Farm to your table and include us in your celebrations! We wish you a safe holiday, full of good food, good conversation, and good spirits.
Eat well today and be well always,
The Willowsford Farm Crew
