This week on the farm we are wrapping up the cucumber and zucchini season... finally... I have to admit that while I am endlessly excited about basically all vegetables.. I myself am a bit tired of these two summer superstars at this point in the summer with their laborsome harvest and incredibly abundance. So this week (and possibly next for the cucumbers) will be their last hurrah - so get them while you can!
We will be switching up our flower offerings this week and offering Dahlia bouquets! These will be $15 dollar bunches of mixed dahlias with some lovely greenery. Great to bring color into your home or gift to a friend or neighbor!
We are also excited about our lovely fresh king richard leeks - fantastic for frying, caramelizing or tossing in raw to salads and slaws!
And otherwise were keeping it pretty consistent with abundance of the many summer veggies you have been enjoying all season!
