Spring is in full swing here and we are planting as quick as we can here to get geared up and ready for the summer CSA season ahead!
This year we seeded extra tomato plants and saved extra Dahlia Tubers so we could offer them for sale for those of you with green thumbs :)
They will be on sale in the farm stand now through Monday at 12pm! Plants will be available for pick up at the Mount Pleasant pick up location in East Vancouver and at A Rocha Farm on Tuesday May 3!
The dahlia tubers will be sold in bulk bags of 10 tubers for $20! Plus tubers are a fun investment and if you want you can even choose to dig them up each year and save for planting the following year so you will never have to buy them again!
The variety is "Fidalgo Julie" Dahlias which look like this:
Dahlias easy to plant (more info on how to plant Dahlias here!) and will give you lots of blooms from late summer and into the fall!
The tomato plants are in large one gallon pots and ready to be planted into your garden asap!
