You may know that our son Trevor is getting married this fall. His fiancee is from Buffalo, NY. Last weekend we travelled up north for a bridal shower. This weekend I'm hosting a shower for our NJ friends and family. As I planned the menu for the shower, I decided to take this opportunity to feature as much of our own produce and our favorite local protein.
Shower menu includes:
- Butternut Squash Soup - made with Buzby butternut
- Sausage Corn Chowder - made with Buzby corn and potatoes and Sicklers sausage
- Chicken Pot Pie -made with Quirk chicken (rolled noodles from my LAC roots)
- Sliced apples - from Schobers
