It is clean up time at the farm. We are still harvesting corn everyday and the CSA field is still producing some greens and cabbages, but our summer crops are finished. We spend a couple hours a day cleaning up fields and prepping them for winter. Pulling up stakes, mowing rows, discing, and planting cover crop. Little by little the days are getting shorter and the pace is slowing at the farm. This past week Andy and Dawn enjoyed this amazing October weather and went motorcycle camping in upstate NY and Vermont. My in-laws are cooler than yours ! :-)
