Here we are in the 4th week of CSA. It got really hot this week! In the heat, the broccoli really grew fast and the lettuce too so we have those in abundance this week. You will not see strawberries in your share going forward....the season is over for them. Those sweet treats never last as long as we would like! The rain last night was a welcomed event for us and our crops. We are thankful for our super crew this year that allows us to serve our members and customers on a daily basis!

About the farm
Our farm has been in operation for more than 100 years. In the beginning the sole focus was grain farming and livestock. Over the years the scope of the operation transitioned to add produce. Since 2012 we have focused primarily on produce and plan to expand the operation to include year-round-growing through the use of high tunnel greenhouses in the near future.
