We have exciting news!!!! Our farm has received a grant to construct a high tunnel greenhouse. High tunnels, also called high hoops or hoop houses, are structures that extend the growing season. These covered structures are constructed in the field in order to protect crops from the weather (rain, wind, cool or warm temperatures), as well as in some cases, pests. Our plan is to construct the house which will be approximately 2,000 sq. ft in size and begin growing next year. This is something that David and I have been working towards for a couple years so we are quite excited to expand our farming operation!!!
