I was able to catch daughter-mother duo Alli & Nancy - harvesters and CSA members - together in the field this morning. Nancy is holding the share: yellow peaches, and plum medley from Marker-Miller orchard in Winchester VA, Gala apples from Aspers PA, and our red raspberries. Alli has been harvesting with Agriberry for the last six summers and became a team leader this year (she also helps us with pruning in other seasons as her class schedule at Randolph-Macon allows). Her mom Nancy decided to join the CSA and the harvest team this year (taking a sabbatical from pharmaceutical law). Anybody else feel like taking a sabbatical? We are in need or more field crew members! Apply at Agriberry.com/hiring!
