We have a great selection of items in the first box for our Vegetable CSA shareholders this week. For the vegetable selection, we have sourced a variety of fresh produce from local farms, all items are certified organic and include swiss chard, asparagus, green kale, Crimini mushrooms, red potatoes, radishes, salad mix, and loose spinach.
If everything looks good with your box contents and pickup date, you don't need to do anything, just show up on your selected pickup date and get your box. If you would like to edit the contents of your box or pickup date, you will click on SWAP ITEM link. Each product in the box as well as the optional products available will have a value assigned, and you can add or exchange items to be included in your box each week.
Be sure to check out the extras that can be added into your box! Each week we will have new exciting products you can pick from. This week start out with a dozen of our duck eggs, micro greens from Hometown Acres, the Suburban Sourdough bread baked by our colleague Douglas, the very popular Cherry Bomb hot sauce from Bushel & Peck’s and don’t forget the organic cheddar from Steckler Grassfed.
As for the payment information, most shareholders either paid in full for their shares upon signup, or paid a 25% deposit. If you paid a 25% deposit upon signup, your card on file will be charged and additional 25% when you pickup your first box of the season. The remaining 50% of the season's share cost will be charged evenly over the remaining pickup weeks. And any extra items you choose to include in your weekly box will be charged to your card that week.
