Dear CSA Member,
We are so excited that each week we add more and more wonderful variety to the CSA boxes! Some highlights from this week: organic cucumbers from Fifth Season Coop, fresh blueberries from Joe's Blues in Michigan and organic dry red beans from Breslin Farms. We love to reuse egg cartons, plastic and paper bags in the farm store so please also remember to bring your CSA boxes back each week, we want to keep the same ones going for the entire CSA season and beyond!
We all have been enjoying the hot weather lately including our Guernsey dairy cows! Sadly milk production slows down in hot weather but luckily as a CSA member you are able to add on milk to your order each week. If you are interested in seeing how our cows get milked please stop by the farm on a Saturday at 5:00pm for a brief milking demonstration.
