You're all going to be enjoying one of the BEST holiday season harvests that we have ever had... Each year we get better and better at extending our season, learning many things from past seasons, and improving our growing practices- all of this to increase the amount of variety we are able to put into the boxes each week. This week you'll be seeing more variety in your boxes than ever before! We have tons of greens coming your way, along with cabbages, beets, turnips, radishes, and even our fresh-pressed apple cider! Basil is from our greenhouse, and many of the leafy greens and cole crops are grown in our high tunnels too! Our high tunnels and greenhouses help us grow the exciting field crops in a more temperature-controlled and frost-proof environment. Be sure to check out the swap items that are available this week, along with a few fun new add-on items. And as always, ifi you have any questions, please reach out to our team at (908) 879-7189. Enjoy your share!

About the farm
Alstede Farms is focused on being the best farm in the northeast. We are dedicated to providing high-quality homegrown local fruits and vegetables and memorable farm experiences. This is accomplished through a highly motivated employee team that is focused on customer service and the sustainable stewardship of God’s natural resources. We produce a huge variety of our own local fruits, vegetables, and flowers grown using only sustainable and USDA certified organic production methods. We take soil and water conservation and the stewardship of our farm land very seriously, and have therefore permanently preserved all of the farm land we own. We have made a long-term commitment to agriculture in Chester as well as in New Jersey. We love what we do and we love serving you!
