Welcome to the first week of summer Farm Shares! And Happy 4th of July Weekend! I know this will be a busy weekend for many of you, but don't worry, you have until 9pm Sunday to make any changes you want to your box contents. And if you don't do anything, you'll still get a tasty variety of fresh, local goodies--farmers choice!
It is still fairly early in the farming season, so please keep in mind there will be limited variety the first week or two, and slightly smaller boxes. You will see a lot more selection, quantity and items available to swap as we get further into the season. Swaps are first come first served so if there's something you really want, get in there and check it out!
Some extra special treats we have this week are cherry tomatoes, pea shoots (great on salads!), broccoli raab and rhubarb. And we'll have zucchini, peas, arugula, and more lettuce varieties coming in soon.
