I am sure you have all gotten the emails, and I know several of you have signed up already, but we have officially started taking sign ups for our Spring -Fall Shares plus our Bi weekly CSA share! We had a sale last week for National CSA Day, but if you missed out, don't worry, you can still save $25 by signing up for all three seasons. You can buy shares either on Harvie, or by filling out a paper application (the same way we have done it in the past). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call!
We are so excited for this season! We have been looking into new varieties to grow and even new techniques to grow them! We are trying out a few new cucumbers and Eggplants. We have seeded close to 20 different peppers and we are starting to clear out and make space in the greenhouses for tomatoes. With any luck and weather permitting, by the time you pick up your next share in two weeks from now, we will have over 350# of potatoes in the ground and close to 1,800 tomato plants in the greenhouses. What an exciting time to be a farmer or gardener!
