Hello again from the farm! FIRST – PICKUP IS FROM 4-6 PM. I have no idea why your pickup emails say 2-6, but they do. We are working on getting that bug fixed.
Now, to the important stuff... We did have some warm weather for a few days, so we were able to get LOTS of transplanting done. In the few days of warm weather, we got nearly 3000 plants in the ground, prepped beds for more peppers, tomatoes and squash, and are actively seeding and prepping more so more planting can happen!
But alas, the rain has retuned. Wet and chilly weather this week means more waiting...
But luckily, salad and the attendant fixings all grow well. The spinach is GORGEOUS, we get to add more variety to your choice of head lettuces this week, and we have a FEW Garlic Scapes to a few lucky customers :)
Keep cheering on the sun, the tomatoes are huge and blooming like crazy, the radishes are bulbling up, and the squash has beautiful yellow flowers. I can feel the warmth of spring in my thoughts!
