Happy Tuesday from the farm!
We ate our first ripe tomato this week, and look forward to sharing them with you all soon! Some will see cherry tomatoes in their shares this week, along with a couple of new, fresh, colorful options.
Our tomato house is getting a face lift as we hang plants this week. This will make growing, harvesting, and admiring them much easier for all of us. More beds are being prepped as we empty our transplants from the greenhouse to the fields, including sweet potatoes, the last of the pepper and tomato plants, herbs, winter squash and pumpkins! Yay pumpkins!!!
We have had some of you out these last couple weeks, and it has been a treat to have the help and get some important tasks done. Let us know what your schedules look like for work share if you haven't signed up yet. We are scheduling Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays.
