Week 1 is under our belt! Thanks for helping make it a smooth first delivery. We're back at it this week, doing our best to get summer crops in the ground, all the while avoiding the persistent frost! Low 30's here last night, and probably some more frost tonight! Thankfully, many of the crops are cold hardy enough to not have to be covered. But the tomatoes and peppers, sunflowers and zinnias, all need some help surviving the cold nights! Let's be hoping this week is the last week of extra work!
Also, FYI – Jimmy, our employee, will be handling the CSA delivery this week while we travel to Missouri for a funeral. If you're the praying type, we'd be grateful recipients! We'll be back next week. He's a good fella. Treat him well :)
Enjoy the pic of the big ol' green tomatoes coming right along. Cherry tomatoes will be making their arrival earlier than we've ever had them. be watching :)
See you Friday (or Saturday)!
