Farm Happenings for October 29, 2021

Posted on October 28th, 2021 by Adam Blaney

SO SORRY for the delay in this email getting out today!! We sat down last night... and simply forgot!

It's full throttle here on the farm, prepping for winter/spring! ALL tomatoes are finally out of the ground. Half of the salad, lettuce, and spinach is back in the ground. about 6000 more plants to go :) If you are feeling the itch to get your hands dirty before the cold really sets in, we have plenty of opportunity for volunteer hours! More compost is on the way, so that we can prep beds for the spring, so that when the weather begins to warm, we can pull some plastic back and immediately get spring crops in the ground. It feels like we should be slowing down, as the weather cools (did it frost at your house yet!?), and we will... But a few more weeks of craziness... just a few more weeks! :)

Blessing to you and your families. Sorry again for the delay. I have extended the customization deadline until Friday morning. Please remember, pick up on the farm for the fall/winter season is from 4pm to 5:30pm Friday evening.

Thanks!

Adam
